Wait For You is the first book in the Wait For You series by Jennifer L. Armentrout writing under the pen name J. Lynn. I feel the extreme need to immediately blast to the world my endless love for Cameron. Seriously I don't think I would ever be able to choose between Daemon or Cameron (I'm sorry Daemon I still love you!). This book is one of those books that you will remember forever, the characters will forever be written into your heart. I don't say that lightly because I know how after reading so many titles eventually things begin to blur together but Avery and Cam are forever.
This book is one you want to read when you need to be reminded of the goodness in love and people again. How love is selfless and enduring and how the right person can appear in your life when you least expect it. JLA's exquisite writing is once again on point and her character's voices and thoughts are real. I've always loved how easy it is to connect with her characters but in Wait for You I felt like I actually knew them.
Avery has her challenges and a past that isn't rainbows and sunshine. But she is a survivor and I admire that quality in her. Choosing to attend a college far from home to escape a less then superb past she is the new girl on campus. And of course we have the incredibly talented Cam who likes to cook and turtles. He is a total dreamboat! This is not an insta-love book which is something I really appreciate because as they get to know each other the feelings develop naturally and seem more realistic. And poor Avery rushing to reach her first class only to smash into a delicious wall of a man!

If you're into new adult reads and need something fresh and creative that will breath life into you I highly recommend this book. The characters are beautifully developed and the love they feel is so awe-inspiring. J. Lynn has gone above and beyond with this title.
